The Process of Transition

Moving, migrating, relocating, immigrating are examples of transition. There are reasons behind why people are involve in this thing. It can be that they are in search of the land of milk and honey or the greener pasture. It can be escaping someone or something. It can be being tired of the place they are living that's why they decide to transit, or sense that there is something special in that place that they wanted to go for it. Whatever are the reasons, they are doing it for your own betterment, for sure!

Involving yourself in this process requires taking risk, especially that you are going to a place of unknown. It is a matter of faith which is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. It also involves your time, effort and expenses.

Change that you will encounter are; adjustments, homesickness, and the possibility of returning if you are unable to cope up with your new situation. To a point that when you are settled in the new place, whether you like it or not, you will need to fit in. Which will require to getting along with the culture, traditions, community, people and their way of living. It will not be easy for the first few months or year. You may also experience a series of your own roller coasters, and sometimes asked "Is it worth it?". But, if you are someone looking for something new or different, or likes the adventure. These will not be a problem because you will easily blend and adapt.

Finally, the advantages of transition is you are able to broaden your relationships and spheres of influence. You are able to accept the fresh way of life. You will appreciate the diversity of your former place and your present.

And also, its a plus factor if you are able to learn to speak their language, in case the current place you are living speak a different one. Having the ability to do so, makes you more belong, and at home. And will benefit you everyday.
