My Fishy Fishy

Since, I had arrived my everyday chores was cleaning the house, cooking, arranging stuff, typing topics, and feeding our pet fishes.

The kinds of fishes we have are the St. Peter's fish (tilapia), and catfish (hito). By the way, we have a fishpond in our backyard, a man-made one. Since the area we are living is water prone, when it rain hard the water all go to the fishpond which supplies their habitat. I wonder what will happen when the rainy seasons are over.

I enjoyed seeing the St. Peter's fish eat their food. They swam to the water surface and they eat their food like gulping water. I stay at a distance not to scare them, cause if they see humans or other moving things they swam beneath the pond. The catfish has a different personality too. They rarely surface the water, they only surface when it rains. Saw one of them crawl out of the pond like a snake, a bit creepy, but they'll return back to the pond afterwards. The St. Peter's fish and Catfish don't share a pond. The two kinds have their separate pond.

The purpose of our fishes are for amusement, when they grow big enough, then for food, of course. These kinds of fishes are less maintenance and easy to take care.

However, make sure no cats are playing around or near the pond, since cats likes to eat fishes...:)
