The conference I attended for three days was held in the Crown Regency Suites Mactan Hotel Cebu, Maximo Patalinghug Jr. Ave. Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines. Nice venue and good food! The waitress, servers and the front desk officers are friendly and accomodating.
I enjoyed the conference and listening to the different speakers broaden my mind about things in life. At the end of the conference, I had a chance to take pictures of the venue and so here are the images......
The Lapu-Lapu shrine is a 20-meter bronze statue in Punta EngaƱo, Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines, erected in honor of Datu Lapu-Lapu, a native chieftain who defeated Spanish soldiers, and Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan in the Battle of Mactan on 1521.
From Crown Regency Suites Mactan, we rode a taxi going toward the shrine of Lapulapu as stated above around 20-30 minutes. You can take a jeepney also if you want. We choose the taxi since the rain is fast approaching, so we hurriedly ask the taxi driver to get us to the site asap. We arrived and the photos below are the images we took.

We just stayed around 15-20 minutes in the site since the rain is fast approaching. By the way, there is no entrance fee in the site. Only a donation box. There are souvenir shops around. No chance to check them out since we hurriedly went to catch our last flight home.
These pictures are all taken only in Mactan Island. No time to go to the downtown Cebu, due to the time of our flight. For more about Cebu just click the word. Have a nice day....
