Life has been a question lots of us have in mind…..For me, Life is a gift from God…We did not choose to be born here in this earth but He did. Others say they are an accident. But there is no such thing. Since it is already plan by God.
It’s up to you how you live your life. You will be responsible for the consequences of your actions. Just ask God to direct you and I know He will.....Wednesday, November 17, 2010

I'm back.................after their wedding
Okay, I'll just narrate to you what happened to me this following weeks. I went to a simple city almost 2 and a half hours from here to visit some relatives, attend a birthday and to process some important papers.
Next, I proceeded to another city to attend the wedding of my friend, Rona and Rodge. I am their bridesmaid by the way. It was memorable to witness a vow for life. Being their bridesmaid was a total FUN! Doing errands like buying wedding garters and hairsprays, pinning flowers on the principal sponsors, looking after the flowers girls. Carrying here and there the matches for the candle, the pins for the veil and etc. The most funny yet uncomfortable part was I kept on stepping the end of the ball gown (our attire) which makes me feel awkward. That's why when I marry someday. I'll choose the knee length dress, not the toe length for my bridesmaids to wear. =) A dress that is comfortable, yet easy for them to move.
So far that's all for now....I'll keep you posted

To Marry is in the Air
My friend, Kuya Jay is going to ask his fiance's parents for her hand in marriage. Kuya Jay is the third friend of mine at present who decided to marry. My other friends, Kuya Liam will be next year, and Ate Rona this year. The three of them are 25 years old and above. Pretty age to marry, I think.Upon learning, Kuya Jay's wedding plans. I was ecstatic! Reasons are; he decided not to end a bachelor forever, he is in his proper age to marry, and lastly, he already found "the one" God had given him.
In Filipino culture, "Pamanhikan" is a pre-wedding where the families of both the groom and bride meet and plan all the wedding details.
Honestly, I'm excited to their big day! Since they will be making a vow with their respective spouse-to-be, "for better and for worst, in richer and poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do they part." A covenant they will make in front of their witnesses and to God! A covenant I know Kuya Jay, Kuya Liam, and Ate Rona will keep.
To the three of you, the fact that you are all entering matrimony, and your single days are about to end.lol. I wish you cheers and toast of joy and love to your marriage life ahead.
PS. Don't forget to send me your invitations. ^^,

My Adieu
Met all of you as you
Made friends, confidantes
And shared food trips with
Laughter's and tears expressed
Accepted your peculiarity
As if blood relatives are we
Now my time has come
To say goodbye for now
I appreciate the friendships
You all had shared
I kept it in my heart no
Not mind, cause if shall
I'll forget somehow
Pleasure to meet you
been part of my life
How your friendships
Been before and now
Treasured people are hard
To find, glad I found
Them in each of you
Forget me not as I leave
Promise me you'll still
Keep up and communicate
Life's what may bring
Creator Above, I'll pray will
Bless each of you
My words of adieu
PS. I made these up because of ennui, but I really meant it.Dedicated to the people staying at room 208 and 205.

Are you a hundred percent ?!

If you ask me, by blood? My answer will be, " I'm not sure." Not sure because, looking back in our country's history. The first human beings came from the islands of Asia. The Negritos settled some 30,000 years ago. The Malay people who originated from the Taiwanese aborigines settled some 6000 years ago. The Spaniards around 1565. The Americans around 1898. The Japanese around 1941. Plus the local people who existed before all of the above came. If you still want my answer. I will just do a guess of taking a percentage of each of the above stated people group.
How I wish there is a device that can determine what races are in your blood and identify where your ancestors are from, or invent something like that. Dreaming?!
To conclude, I can say, "I am a Filipino!" by legal papers. By blood, I'm part this and that, but still a Filipino, even if I cannot claim that I am pure blooded.
